The Amazing Avocado
I realize this may not seem like much of a recipe, but this really is one of the healthiest and most satisfying snacks/meal replacements you'll find. And the best part is that it will only cost you about $1.50. While I am on this cleanse avocado's have become a food staple of mine. Not only are they delicious, but they will fill you up and keep you satiated for awhile. And everything about an avocado is so good for you that you could pretty much live on them. I actually always take one with me to the office or amongst my travels so that when I'm really hungry and I need something simple and quick I'm prepared. I am no fun to be around when I am hungry, or "hangry" as I like to say, and thankfully avocados keep me sane.

- 1 Ripe Avocado
- Himalayan Salt (optional)
- Slice open your avocado, remove the pit, and sprinkle with a little Himalayan Salt.
In my opinion Avocado's might just be one of the healthiest foods you can eat. One avocado gives you an ample serving of fiber, protein, and fat. In particular they contain all of your good healthy fats that help lower the bad cholesterol in your body. And they also contain high levels of nutrients such as Folate and Lutein, which helps to support eye health. Avocados lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of stroke. They bring more oxygen and blood flow to the brain, improving cognitive function. The fiber content promotes healthy digestion. They are known for a wide variety of anti-inflammatory benefits due to its high nutrient content. This makes it a great immune booster and cancer fighter. Overall one of the best foods you can eat, hands down!
