Homemade Almond Butter
OMG I am so excited about this weeks recipe! Why because I successfully made my own Organic Almond Butter and I can stop shelling out $12.00 a week on a jar! I wish I had done this ages ago but I had no idea how simple it was. All you need is a food processor, almonds, and 5 minutes. Yup it's that easy.
  • Organic Almonds (raw or roasted your choice)
  • 1 tsp of sea salt (optional)
  1. Add ingredients into a food processor with an S blade.
  2. Process until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Store in the refrigerator.
I love almond butter! I'm kinda addicted to it to tell the truth. It's my favorite any time snack. Any time you are hungry have some almond butter and it will take the edge off. Why because almonds have a great balance of fiber, protein, and fat. Almonds promote heart health and help to lower cholesterol. They are also packed with antioxidant Vitamin E, the anti-aging nutrient. And there have been countless studies that show almonds effectiveness in helping you lose weight, which makes me feel a lot less guilty about my late night indulgences.
