I just started a cleanse this past week. One that doesn't involve starving myself in the least. This is just about eating really well and avoiding the bad stuff like gluten, dairy, and sugar. But I haven't been hungry at all, partly because I've been loading up on this huge salad. This recipe is basically a huge green salad topped with Quinoa and a few other yummy additions. Why the Quinoa? Because it is an amazing source of protein, which keeps you full longer. Plus it's loaded with fiber, and it's important to get in a lot of fiber while your cleansing. So whether you are doing a detox or not, this salad makes a super healthy and filling lunch.

- Salad Greens of choice
- Cut up fruit
- Raw nuts and seeds
- Cooked Quinoa
- All natural salad dressing (I'm using the brand Cindy's Kitchen)
- Chop appropriate ingredients and combine.

Packed full of Phytonutrients and Antioxidants it is no wonder that Quinoa was so highly valued by ancient tribes that would consume this grain for health and stamina.
