Raw Brownies
OMG these are so good! I don't feel the need to ever make regular brownies again. If you are looking for a way to indulge in a chocolatey dessert while still eating clean you have to try this recipe. These brownies are perfect for anyone who is gluten free or vegan. And they take a lot less time to make then regular brownies. It's a win -win!
Recipe type: Dessert
  • 2 Cups of Walnuts
  • ½ cup of Oats (gluten free oats)
  • 2½ cups of pitted Dates
  • ¾ cup of raw Cacao Powder
  • Goji berries and almond slices for topping (optional)
  1. Combine walnuts and oats into a food processor and process until they are broken down.
  2. Add dates and cacao powder and process until everything sticks together in one large mass.
  3. Spread mixture into an 8 x 8 baking pan, top with goji berries and almond slices, and refrigerate until set (about an hour).
Walnuts provide you with your Omega 3 fatty acids, which is essential to your Cardiovascular system and your Brain. Raw Cacao is considered a Superfood, and is well deserving of such a title. High in antioxidants and packed full of vitamins and minerals its no wonder raw cacao has been linked to so many health benefits.
